Armstrong has recently changed the requirements for packaging LTL Shipments of Grid and Components. All LTL shipments for "C" Service items, Special items, and ceiling grid components over 6 ft. long will be subject to mandatory crating protection. There will be a $150 charge for this service. Effective with shipments on and after Monday, February 27, 2012, USG will increase prices on the following products:

•  All Commercial and Retail Ceiling Grid Systems will increase by 6%.  (Including Drywall Suspension Systems)

Inflation in the steel industry is the primary factor influencing this increase. New price lists and escalation guidlines will be made available soon.
